Today I am cooking Cannabutter.

Ingredients:
1 ounce of cannabis Flower
1 1/2 pounds of butter
1 cup boiling water

Combine all the ingredients above in a crockpot. Stir until the cannabis flower is completely saturated. Cook in a crockpot for 24 hours on low, maintaining a constant temperature of 180 degrees. After 24 hours, strain butter and cannabis mixture through a cheesecloth filter. Refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours. The water and butter mixture will separate, remove water, and prepare your butter for consumption. www.freemycure.org

There are several ways to infuse or make Cannabutter, and they all have their benefits and, in most cases, work fairly well.  I’ve learned a lot in the past few years and prefer to infuse foods with concentrates.  For people like me that need cannabis to eat.  Flower versus concentrate tastes better and, in some cases, doesn’t taste at all. I can dose my butter more accurately, and higher THC level with concentrates, and have a lot less odor to no odor at all, making infusing butter in a populated area less noticeable.
